After a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Biological Sciences at ENS de Lyon, France, I joined the TCG team for my PhD on Tasmanian Devils transmissible cancers. My PhD project looks at diversity and evolution of DFTD in Tasmania with a dataset of samples collected from over 20 years. This project allows me to combine my love for the fields of evolutionary genomics, infectious diseases, and cancer biology. More specifically, I use genomic epidemiology tools to characterize the genomes of the tumours, genotype them, and investigate their evolution and transmission. Additionally to my research project, I am involved as the postgraduate representative of the Department of Veterinary Medicine, and I enjoy thinking about science outreach.
