I earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Manchester and a master’s degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Nottingham. After completing my studies, I worked as a bioinformatician at the European Bioinformatics Institute, specialising in mouse genome assembly. I then joined the Wellcome Sanger Institute, where I focused on feline and canine cancer genomics.
Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Biological Sciences at the University of Cambridge while continuing my work at the Wellcome Sanger Institute. My research is centred on understanding the genomic factors underlying skin cancers in both canines and humans.
